The Maruti Suzuki has unveiled the new flagship Grand Vitara SUV. the company claimed that it is most fuel efficiency in India market. By this flagship SUV Maruti Suzuki has entered the mid-size SUV segment. This car will be going against the another mid-size SUV such as Creta, Kia sonet, XUV 300, MG Pre-booking are open for Rs 11,000. It is the replacement of S-Cross lineup. It will be offering the mild-hybrid and also a strong hybrid powertrain option.

The Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara will be offered with a two engine option. The first is a 1.5liter mild hybrid system that produce a 100bhp and 135Nm torque with 5-speed manual and also offered in 6-speed Automatic transmission. Its has a claimed fuel efficiency figure of 21.11kmpl.
The other offering is a 1.5litter strong hybrid system that paired to a e-CVT engine which make 115bhp which only offering in Automatic transmission and company claimed mileage of 27.97kmpl. Top-of-the-line trim of a new Maruti Grand Vitara will be offered with all-wheel-drive(AWD) system.
